Åbäke is Patrick Lacey, Benjamin Reichen, Kajsa Ståhl and Maki Suzuki. They were educated at Brighton University, Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, HDK in Gothenburg and the Royal College of Art, London. The group is based in London and has worked for clients including Maison Martin Margiela, Peter Jensen, and Martino Gamper. They teach at the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins, London and organize workshops and events internationally.
